Programs and Resources
Writing in the Disciplines programs provide regular faculty development opportunities and other curricular support across the Arts and Sciences.
Individual instructors who are striving to integrate writing more effectively into their undergraduate courses may benefit from the Writing in the Disciplines Faculty Seminar. This semester-long fellowship program provides a cross-disciplinary forum for new faculty members who want to develop a writing pedagogy as well as for experienced faculty members who want to refresh their teaching.
Departmental coordinators can request a workshop, colloquium, or seminar tailored to the particular needs of their faculty or graduate students. They can also establish a system of peer writing tutors within the major through the Undergraduate Writing Fellows program.
